Our graduate program helps to foster deep reading, reflective listening, and an openness to collaborative engagement with others in small, discussion-based classes built around some of the most important and challenging books that sit at the center of our culture and society. |

Innovative in our approach, St. John’s MA in Liberal Arts and MA in Eastern Classics programs transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and will challenge you to return to the fundamental and enduring questions of humanity. You can complete them in three to four terms, with options for evening or summer classes. |

If you are looking for a more focused experience and find setting aside the time needed to earn a graduate degree is too difficult right now, you can enroll in our certificate program, which will allow you to participate in classes along with other graduate students. You will read and discuss the same foundational texts, but this program will require only two semesters to complete. |

NEW for 2021—all of these programs have the option for online or on campus. So you can have the flexibility to do this program from anywhere in the world and still connect with fellow teachers in dynamic discussion-based courses. |
