Indigenous Peoples' Day Educators Open House

Meet Native people from throughout New York State as they share information about their communities, cultures, and artistic endeavors at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian.
The day will include tours of the exhibition Native New York and art demonstrations. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the exhibit Shelley Niro: The 500 Year Itch, guided by the artist herself. Educators will be provided with a collection of classroom-ready resources.
